The new Hardware Engineer will support the LE2 program for Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE). Use your strong electrical engineering skills to work with all project partners and define the future for FBM - - - Key activities you will accomplish in this role: In this dynamic role you will: u2022 Participate in requirements analysis, configuration determination, design, alterations, material procurement, manufacturing, test and acceptance for a wide variety of electrical and electromechanical test systems and multifunction integrated test equipment in support of the US Navyu2019s Ballistic Missile Flight Test Program. u2022 Create/update project/process documentation that align to project requirements. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to: u2022 Support the design, procurement, assembly, test and verification of our automated test systems, including data review and trending. u2022 Develop hardware requirements from subsystem to all locally assigned support equipment test systems. u2022 Interface with suppliers, customer and internal design teams to provide cost effective and low risk solutions. u2022 Develop test system design documentation to communicate proposed designs to internal design and business teams, vendors and customers. u2022 Support, as required, Failure Review Board activities through closure. u2022 Ability to travel and work at alternate work sites as required, less than 25%. - - - To be effective in this role, you will need: u2022 Experience in both design and test of electrical hardware u2022 3+ years of professional experience for this role. u2022 You will need to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret Clearance, thus US Citizenship is required. - - - Why Lockheed Martin?
