This job was posted by : For moreinformation, please see: the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) andwill be assigned to the Lodging Facility on McConnell AFB.The primary purpose of this position is to perform as a Senior GuestServices Representative in support of the front desk/office operationfor Lodging.This job is open to: The public - U.S. Citizens, Nationals or thosewho owe allegiance to the U.S.DutiesResponsible for relaying work instructions from supervisor; provides onthe job training for new employees; observes work in progress of newteam members. Shares learned best practices of front desk operations.Assists in correcting clerical and system errors. Exhibits workstandards while following operational procedures and policies. Ensuresadherence of established quality and safety standards. Balances workloadof team members during shift ensuring efficient output of work. May beasked to provide input to supervisor on employee's performance ofassigned work and/or identify training needs. Maintains log of incidentsand reports. Reports all violations of safety to immediate supervisor.Ensures adequate stock supplies and equipment are available to do thework. Resolves straightforward guest complaints and documents situationwith outcome. Elevates guest/employee complaints that are unresolvableat his/her level. Reports incidents to proper authority. Ensurescustomer service is the first priority.Receives and confirms room reservations by letter, telephone, email, orpersonal contact. Registers and assigns rooms to guests, makes andissues room keys, and may escort guests to rooms as needed. Ensures thatonly authorized patrons use government-sponsored quarters. Calculatesand posts charges to patrons' accounts and balances totals with controlrecords. Accepts payment, makes change, and presents departing guests'checkout statements. Prepares and safeguards cash receipts, preparesdaily cashier's report, daily activity report, and may prepareconsolidated daily activity report. Updates automated data base onoccupancy and checkouts. Maintains current checkout list. Maintains andsells sundry sales items to patrons. Ensures required information isreceived from guest and entered into guest folio. Prints backup reportsfrom property management system. Ensures housekeeping status of rooms isupdated. Records and notifies appropriate person/organization ofmaintenance problems reported by guests. Ensures front desk area andlobby remains clean. Process Night Audit procedures and close creditcard machines nightly. Maintains the lost and found program. Willperform
