The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, a commitment to safety, and proficiency in logistics-related tasks. Responsibilities: u2022 Inspect incoming shipments to confirm accuracy and identify any damages. u2022 Prepare and package customer orders for delivery or shipment with precision and care. u2022 Maintain organized inventory in designated storage areas and ensure accurate labeling. u2022 Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, push forklifts, and handheld scanners. u2022 Conduct regular inventory counts and assist in resolving discrepancies. u2022 Keep the warehouse environment clean, safe, and well-organized. u2022 Handle loading and unloading of trucks and manage outbound shipments efficiently. u2022 Utilize carrier and customer portals to manage shipments and track processes. u2022 Report any damaged or missing items promptly to supervisors. u2022 Adhere to company policies, safety protocols, and operational guidelines. Requirements u2022 Previous experience in logistics, shipping, or receiving is required. u2022 Proficiency with warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks. u2022 Familiarity with shipping functions and logistics processes. u2022 Ability to perform inventory counts and reconcile stock discrepancies. u2022 Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. u2022 Computer literacy, including the ability to use carrier and customer portals. u2022 Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment. u2022 Knowledge of personal security measures within a logistics setting.
