Apply Today Job Summary and Qualifications Join our team as a PreOp Registered Nurse in our ambulatory surgery center. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and evaluating the nursing care rendered preoperatively for your patients. As a valued addition to our company, you will exhibit the values of HCA as a whole, as well as your individual center, providing quality care like family. What you will do in this role: + Prepare your patientsu2019 care area adequately before case + Ensure availability of necessary equipment and supplies for your patientsu2019 procedure + Conduct complete physical and psychological assessment and evaluation of your patientsu2019 history and diagnostic tests + Review your patientsu2019 charts for completeness prior to surgery + Administer pre-operative medications and intravenous therapy as prescribed + Monitor your patients until transferred to the OR Qualifications you will need: + Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma or Higher degree in Nursing Required + 1+ years of nursing experience in a clinical setting, preferably in PACU, ICU or Surgery + Active RN license as required by state of employment + BCLS Certification upon employment. online certification not acceptable + ACLS required within 30-days of hire + PALS if required by facility within 30-days of hire Ambulatory Surgery Center ( located in Tampa,Florida.
