Full Time Positionand#10;and#10;We are a busy family practice medical office seeking a friendly and professional receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients and play a key role in creating a welcoming and efficient experience. and#10;and#10;Essential Duties and Responsibilities:and#10;Greet patients and visitors in a professional, friendly manner.and#10;Answer incoming phone calls, schedule, reschedule and confirm patient appointments. and#10;Register patients, update demographics and insurance information in the EMR system. and#10;Verify insurance coverage and collect copayments and balances at time of service. and#10;Manage patient check in and check out process. and#10;Prepare, file and maintain patient records in accordance with HIPAA regulations. and#10;Coordinate with nurses and providers to maintain efficient patient flow. and#10;Receive and route messages, referrals and lab results as directed. and#10;Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk and lobby area. and#10;Perform other administrative duties as assigned. and#10;and#10;Qualifications:and#10;High School diploma or equivalent (some college preferred)and#10;Prior medical office and customer services experience strongly preferred. and#10;Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance verification is a plus. and#10;Proficiency with computers and EMR/EHR systems.and#10;Strong communication, organizational and multitasking skills.and#10;Professional appearance and positive attitude. and#10;and#10;What we offer:and#10;Competitive pay (based on experience)and#10;Paid sick time, vacation time and holidaysand#10;Retirement benefitand#10;Office closed on Wednesday and major holidaysand#10;Supportive and team-oriented work environment
