Job Details Description Ocean Beauty Seafoods - Dallas Distribution is looking for an experienced Warehouse Employee. We are a full-service seafood processing and distribution facility. The Warehouse Order Picker is responsible for accurately picking, staging, and preparing seafood orders in both refrigerated and frozen environments. This role is critical to ensuring customers receive the correct product, on time, and in excellent condition. Job Duties: Accurately pick customer orders in cooler and freezer environments Verify item numbers, descriptions, counts, and weights to ensure order accuracy Safely operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks Stage and prepare orders for delivery routes and will-call pickups Maintain clean, organized, and food-safe work areas Follow all SOPs, food safety, and HACCP guidelines Communicate inventory discrepancies, damages, or shortages to supervisors Work efficiently to meet daily shipping and cut-off deadlines Support general warehouse operations as needed Qualifications: Forklift certification (or ability to obtain certification) Ability to work in cold and freezer environments Ability to lift, push, and pull 50+ lbs repeatedly Strong attention to detail and accuracy Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented Willingness to follow procedures and take coaching seriously Prior experience in food distribution, seafood, meat, or cold storage Experience with warehouse picking systems or inventory software Knowledge of food safety practices Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, ADD, LTD 401(k) eligibility after 90-day probationary period Seafood discounts on employee purchases Free Parking Generous paid time off (PTO) Drug and background checks required.
