Compensation: Up to $125,000 based on experience Work Schedule: This role has a varied schedule based on the tax season: February 1st - April 15th (approximately 10 weeks): Expect to work around 65 hours per week Remaining 42 weeks: The standard work week is 37.50 hours. This typically breaks down to 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday through Thursday (with a one hour lunch), and 8:00 AM - 1:30 PM on Fridays (no lunch) Benefits: 25 days of PTO Single coverage health insurance 401k matched at 3% after one year of employment Potential of hybrid schedule after 90 days of employment New client payout: For clients that you bring in, you will receive 10% of billings for 3 years (so long as the client is billed at a standard hourly rate) Key Responsibilities: Manage 3+ staff members, providing guidance and support to foster their professional growth Engage in direct communication with clients, build strong relationships, and ensure client satisfaction Project management to ensure timely and accurate completion of accounting and tax engagements Play a crucial role in transition clients from a retiring partner, ensuring a seamless experience and continuity of service Skills & Experience Required: 7-10 years of CPA firm management experience Proven leadership and client management skills Exceptional technical expertise in tax and accounting A drive to pursue a future partner track About our client: They are a local certified public accountant firm that is committed to growth, collaboration, and fostering a supportive environment to their team.
