We are seeking dedicated Production General Labour associates to join our client in the ERIN, ON area. The ideal candidate has long-term work history in a similar role, and is comfortable working around meat. Monday-Friday Days & Afternoon Shifts Available Packagers - Days ($18/hour) & Afternoons ($20/hour) General Labour/Machine Operator - Afternoons ($22/hour) Days is 7am-3:30PM and Afternoon is 3:30PM-12:00AM This position is not transit accessible. Only candidates within 30 minutes from the location will be considered. Duties · Following recipes to accurately mix formulas in a safe, efficient, and timely manner; weighing ingredients to ensure recipes are followed accurately. · Operating, cleaning, and maintaining all production equipment in a safe manner. · Disassembling and reassembling machines as required. · Wash down of equipment between batches as required. · Assisting with handling and storage of ingredients. · Always maintaining a safe and clean work environment. Requirements 1+ years experience in a manufacturing environment/previous machine operator experience is preferred; experience working in a food plant is an asset. Comfortable working with raw meat in a colder environment. Ability to lift 50 lbs, several times throughout the shift.
