Job details General mechanical assembly using hand and power tools. Work hours generally 8am-4:30pm but when they are :30-5 ... Responsibilities:Prepare work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and part lists; gather parts, subassemblies, tools, and materialsPosition parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurementsAssemble components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts, and subassembly.Verify specifications by measuring completed componentResolve assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications, notifying the supervisor to obtain additional resourcesKeep equipment operational by completing preventative maintenance requirements; following manufacturer???s instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairsMaintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulationsMaintain supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of suppliesConserve resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job resultsContribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as neededWorking hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PMSkills:--Ability to use standard and electrical hand tools.--Ability to read and understand diagrams, blueprints, and schematics--Ability to install components, units, or subassemblies using power tools and related assembly equipment--Ability to properly lift/carry/push/pull/manipulate/transport up to 30-50 lbs.--Ability to work with minimal supervision in a teamwork environment--Mechanical assembly experience a plus!Education:No Degree RequiredExperience:1-4 yearsQualifications:Minimum of 1-year prior experience in an Assembler/Production role, preferably in a manufacturing environmentMUST PASS A 7 YEAR CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECKAll positions require safety steel toed shoes!If you have the skills and experience we are looking for , APPLY TODAY at Show lessShow more General mechanical assembly using hand and power tools.
