Job Title: OR Tech II Location: Jersey City Medical Center Department Name: Operating Room Req #: 0000227899 Status: Hourly Shift: Day Pay Range: $30.65 - $37.58 per hour Pay Transparency: The above reflects the anticipated hourly wage range for this position if hired to work in New Jersey. The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience. Job Overview: In collaboration with the perioperative registered nurse, the surgical technician will function as a member of the team to organize and administer individualizes age specific care to patients, maintain an environment that facilitates safe patient outcomes, and ensure patient’s physiologic responses to surgery are as expected in the surgical suite and across the perioperative division. Qualifications: Required: HighSchooldiplomaorequivalent Completion of an OR Technician training program 2 - 3 years of experience Must have strong knowledge with skill being able to scrub the following service lines: robotics, vascular, endovascular, neurovascular, general, thoracic, neuro/spine, orthopedics, complex plastic cases and trauma Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (verbally and written) Must be able to make calls.
