Description ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESInstall and hook-up manufacturing equipment, exercising care as to size of motors, voltage requirements, and balance circuits for proper power distribution.Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair equipment breakdowns involving mechanical and electrical components.Diagnose nature of problem, perform a variety of electrical test procedures, disassemble equipment and replace defective parts, make connections, reassemble and test.Able to take call outs for machine brake-downs (all hours).Work closely with engineering to alter and modify production machinery.Perform daily inspections of all equipment plant wide to identify possible equipment problems.Pull parts as required from stock, notify purchasing clerk or supervisor when to reorder parts.EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTSAssociated Degree in an Automation/Electrical program is recommended0-1 years of experience in a related fieldKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIREMENTSPossesses a strong ability to work independently, as well as part of a high functioning maintenance and engineering team.
