In this role, you'll perform electrical maintenance, make modifications, and execute the preventive maintenance program that is designed for the facility.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:u2022 Repairs and maintains all facility electrical wiring and fixtures in accordance with blueprints, manuals, and building codes using appropriate hand and electrician's toolsu2022 Installs and repairs electrical fixtures, apparatus, and control equipmentu2022 Repairs and maintains major equipment such as motors, generators, and electrical control systemsu2022 Tests defective equipment to determine the cause of malfunction or failure using standard electrical test equipmentu2022 Observes functioning of installed facility equipment to detect hazards and need for adjustment, relocation, or replacementu2022 Inspects circuits and wiring for specified shielding and grounding and repairs or rewires plant equipment systems according to state building codes and safety regulationsu2022 Plans layout of new wiring installationsu2022 Inspects all equipment on a regularly scheduled basis; meets all requirements of the established preventive maintenance program; inspects, maintains, and repairs solid state boiler control systems and electrical switch gear and electric motorsu2022 Adjust, calibrates, and repairs electrical-pneumatic control systems; inspects electrical-pneumatic systems for emergency repairs; reports and logs all findingsu2022 Maintains the files necessary to support all maintenance activitiesBring your team-focus, adaptability, and commitment to excellence, and weu2019ll help you grow what drives you - and deliver the worldu2019s most challenging Operations Management projects, together.u200b#OMFS #BIA #OurJacobs #BoldlyMovingForward #ChallengeAccepted Four (4) plus years of experience in operating water/wastewater treatment plants or similar Experience leading teams and assigning work Proficient in the use of computer software including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and to enter data into a maintenance management system Proficient in the use of plant SCADA systems and software Possess a valid driveru2019s license with no major infractionIdeally, youu2019ll also have: Knowledge of the principles, methods, and tools employed in the general operation of engines, pumps, valves, motors, and related equipment; general maintenance work; safe work practices; principles and methods of biological and chemical sewage analyses, effects and problems of industrial waste in water/wastewater treatment processes, principles of supervision Knowledge of computer software including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, data management systems and be able to operate plant PLCu2019s and SCADA systemWorking Conditions & Physical Requirements:Safety is a core value at Jacobs.
