The Perioperative Clinical Supply Technician is responsible for the hands-on maintenance of supply and data within the Clinical Supply Chain. Responsibilities include but, are not limited to: u00b7 Liaison between Central Supply and Operating Rooms (ORs) (for contaminations, missing items, reprocessing), supporting room/location level replenishment as standard work as well as ad hoc requests throughout the day as well as transporting carts/equipment from storage areas to rooms, and transport of vendor trays from Central Supply to OR and back u00b7 Responsible for daily/weekly cycle counts using Tecsys handheld scanners and for maintaining inventory accuracy. u00b7 Reviews daily orders and expresses issue and/or cancels any lines as required to the pick lists/supply orders. u00b7 Partners with system inventory analyst to manage and maintain local inventory data including maintenance of accurate bar code labeling of all items in storerooms and clinical areas. u00b7 Reviews cancelled backorders from automated supply cabinet orders and fills / express issue any lines as applicable on receipt of goods. u00b7 Assists Supply Chain Operations/Receiving staff with receiving issues and discrepancies for the facility including investigation and support of resolution of match exceptions due to missed receipts. u00b7 Resolves questions from internal customers regarding storeroom items. Resolves item number and requisition concerns for storeroom items. education: High School Diploma or Equivalent Experience: One Year Inventory Management in a Store Room or Warehouse setting.
