What You'll Do: + Provide customer service to clients, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as needed in a healthcare environment. + Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using sound judgment and adhering to established protocols. + Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential threats. + Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain an orderly environment. + Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines. + Collaborate with healthcare staff and local law enforcement when necessary to support a secure environment. + Remain alert and prepared to respond to emergency situations, including medical emergencies, disturbances, and/or alarms, following all site-specific procedures. Minimum Requirements: + Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree. + Possess an armed guard card or license. + Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. + Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. + Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. + Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. + Participate in industry-specific security training programs. + Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. + A valid driveru2019s license will be required for driving positions only.
