We are in search of a Tournament Coordinatorto join our Grand team at our 1,300 acre Grand Geneva Resort & Spa in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. Our Team is looking forPeople Pleasingindividuals who want to do the following: Turn our guest’s ordinary day into an extraordinary day Love where they work Be appreciated for what they bring to a team Learn and grow with a company who truly values it’s people Experience RequiredExperience Required PGA Member or Apprentice preferred (or desire to start PGA Program) Love of golf and desire to be in the industry Golf Genius Knowledge a plus Knowledge of the game of golf (including rules) Strong customer service skills Ability to communicate well with a team and guide others Must have the ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 25 pounds. Will require standing for long periods of time. Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays. Essential ResponsibilitiesWhat will you be doing? Work with all tournament golf groups to organize events that highlight the Grand Geneva Golf Experience. Help to oversee all inside operations included but not limited to answering phone enquiries, ringing in group outings, selling merchandise, and assisting other shop staff. Take tee time reservations and check in golfers. Opportunity to give lessons to resort guests and non-resort guests. Stock locker room supplies, maintain cleanliness and issue lockers for guests. Monitor golf course and weather conditions through GPS and DTN Weather computer. Assist with daily golf operations as directed by Professional Staff. Perform other duties as assigned.
