This role is physically demanding, and we require someone who can thrive in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Prior experience in warehouse operations and safe handling of machinery such as forklifts and pallet jacks is preferred. The ideal candidate is comfortable with physical labor and working in a warehouse setting. Key Responsibilities: + Safely operate forklifts, stock pickers, high lifts, and pallet jacks to move freight and materials within the warehouse. + Receive, unload, inspect, and verify freight deliveries for accuracy and quality. + Organize and package large material shipments and ensure proper accounting of materials. + Manage inventory stock levels, rotate materials, and ensure proper storage conditions. + Handle hazardous materials in accordance with safety regulations and guidelines. + Perform routine equipment checks to ensure machinery is in good working condition. + Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient work environment in compliance with warehouse safety standards. Preferred Qualifications: + Warehouse experience involving shipping and receiving. + Capability to lift, carry, and move heavy items (50 lbs+) for extended periods. + Willingness to collaborate with other team members in a fast-paced environment. + Knowledge of workplace safety regulations and handling of hazardous materials. Minimum Qualifications: Some knowledge of: warehouse safety, accident prevention and loss control. Good knowledge of: inventory control methods; basic math skills such as adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing.
