Configures business rules, develops custom plugins, and integrate third-party systems to enhance operational efficiency for the mortgage lending division (MLD). Analyze system configuration and provide recommendations for optimization and adherence to best practice and/or established development standards. Serve as the requirements subject matter expert throughout the solution development lifecycle and take responsibility and ownership for the requirements artifacts produced. The target pay range for this position is $100,000.00 to $130,000.00. What youu2019ll need: Develop and maintain Encompass platform features, including business rules, input forms, custom fields, and workflow automation. u2022 Build custom plugins and console application solutions using Encompass APIu2019s and object-oriented programming languages such as VB.NET and C#. u2022 Implement API integrations with third-party services (e.g., credit, title, VOE/VOI) and other mortgagerelated tools. u2022 Ensure system configuration and updates align with evolving regulatory requirements in the mortgage industry. u2022 Gather and document business requirements, formulate use cases, track requirements, provide status and ensure quality solution throughout the project. u2022 Work closely with business analysts, loan officers, and other stakeholders to understand business needs and deliver effective solutions. u2022 Analyze system configuration and provide recommendations for optimization and adherence to best practice and/or established development standards u2022 Responsible for monthly review of system performance metrics as they relate to Encompass Connects. u2022 Coordinate with Carrington business partners for updates and customizations. u2022 Responsible for Encompass system configuration to ensure system performs as required. Verify, manage, administer, communicate, and resolve Tier-3 system issues. u2022 Serve as the requirements subject matter expert throughout the solution development lifecycle and take responsibility and ownership for the requirements artifacts produced. u2022 Responsible for all administrative functions such as maintenance, data templates, document sets, fee tables, user hierarchy/access rights, and software upgrades. u2022 Analyze software upgrades and what effects they have on the department prior to implementation. u2022 Address system changes and procedure changes with the Operations and Product teams. u2022 Build and maintain technical relationships with internal and external teams. u2022 Effectively communicate technical proposals to team members and management. u2022 Develop and maintain documentation for development standards, processes and procedures. u2022 Perform system maintenance to ensure system is always available. u2022 Provide end-user support, troubleshoot system issues, and manage system updates and version control. u2022 Perform administrative functions for Encompass360 while following best practices for security and system management. Proficiency in programming languages VB.Net, JavaScript, CSS, HTML and C#. u2022 Strong understanding of the loan origination workflow and processes. u2022 Familiarity with deploying code using Azure servers and tools. u2022 Experience in building custom plugins and console applications according to business needs using the Encompass API and SDK. u2022 Strong knowledge of Encompass Loan Origination System Encompass Parter Connect, Third Party Originator (TPO) Connect, Encompas Consumer Connect, and Encompass Web and Developer Connect. u2022 Experience with tools such as Postman and Microsoft Visual Studio. u2022 Knowledge of business analysis process and definition of software requirements; familiarity with relational database and client-server concepts u2022 Familiarity with Encompass integrations to external systems u2022 Intermediate Microsoft Office technical skills u2022 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to perform complex business and product requirement analysis and then translate them into configuration specifications u2022 Ability to understand complex problems and to collaborate and explore alternative solutions u2022 Ability to make decisions that have significant impact on the departmentu2019s credibility, operations, and services u2022 Excellent communication, and project management skills. u2022 Able to adapt to changing project requirements, new technologies, and evolving client needs. u2022 Efficiently manages tasks, meets deadlines, and organizes work, Bacheloru2019s degree in business, computer science, information systems or analytical techniques required: equivalent work experience may be substituted. u2022 Two plus (2+) years of Encompass system experience required; other loan origination system experience may be considered for otherwise highly qualified candidates. u2022 Encompass Certification preferred. u2022 Experience must include working independently on large and complex projects that built or enhanced production systems.
