Description Controller - Boutique Private Equity. Our client is looking for an experienced accounting / reporting professional to join their team in Greenwich, Connecticut. This role is ideal for an accomplished individual with a strong background in private equity and financial management. The successful candidate will oversee critical financial operations and ensure compliance with industry standards. Responsibilities: u2022 Manage all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, and reporting, to maintain organizational efficiency. u2022 Oversee private equity investments and ensure accurate financial reporting for all related activities. u2022 Implement financial controls and ensure compliance with regulatory and industry requirements. u2022 Analyze financial data to provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior leadership. u2022 Prepare detailed financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders. u2022 Collaborate with auditors to ensure successful completion of financial audits. u2022 Monitor cash flow and manage capital to support the organization's operational and investment strategies. u2022 Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, including banks and investors Requirements Requirements: u2022 A minimum of 8 years of experience in accounting / reporting, with a focus on private equity. u2022 Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and data analysis. u2022 Strong understanding of financial reporting standards and compliance requirements. u2022 Proven leadership skills. u2022 Experience working with auditors and preparing comprehensive financial reports. u2022 A bachelor's degree in accounting, and a CPA certification is preferred.
