Responsibilities: u2022 Develop and implement internal controls and policies to ensure accuracy in accounting functions, including account reconciliation, fixed asset accounting, and cost accounting. u2022 Conduct financial analysis and provide actionable insights to support management decisions. u2022 Prepare and deliver monthly financial reports and statements in alignment with corporate standards and timelines. u2022 Monitor physical inventory processes, investigate discrepancies, and ensure accurate reporting of inventory adjustments. u2022 Manage journal entries, account reconciliations, and consolidations for monthly and annual closings. u2022 Collaborate on budget preparation and forecasting to ensure alignment with organizational goals. u2022 Support external audits by coordinating documentation and liaising with auditors. u2022 Audit bills of materials to confirm accurate costing and report findings monthly. u2022 Analyze accounting data related to labor, materials, overhead, and inventory to identify and resolve variances. u2022 Generate management reports, evaluate budget variances, and address excess or obsolete inventory concerns. Requirements u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. u2022 Certifications such as CPA or CMA are preferred. u2022 Minimum of seven years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on cost accounting and financial reporting. u2022 Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial regulations. u2022 Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and graphing, as well as ERP systems such as Syteline. u2022 Demonstrated expertise in accounting processes including month-end closings, budgeting, and variance analysis. u2022 Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving capabilities. u2022 Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external auditors.
