This position is responsible for the planning, scheduling, budgeting, utilization and reliability of mining equipment fleet. The position will deal with day to day, as well as long term issues related to an equipment fleet. The positionu2019s main focus will be to improve equipment reliability as well as implement, monitor, audit, and manage preventative maintenance programs. Possible locations include: Gillette, WY; Soda Springs, ID; Tok, AK, Lone Tree, CO; various Responsibilities u2022 Long/short range equipment planning, scheduling, and budgeting for all major equipment manufacturers u2013 Caterpillar, Komatsu, Volvo, Hitachi and more u2022 Spare part procurement and management u2022 Create and maintain tool/filter lists and documentation u2022 Inspections of equipment and parts u2022 Logistics management and communication u2022 Planning and paperwork processing to prepare for critical lifts u2022 Use reliability and failure analysis data to increase equipment availability and reliability u2022 Establish and maintain communications between all levels of supervision and management u2022 Support of craft maintenance technicians u2013 ordering parts, manage inventory, schedule crews, and manage quality and safety u2022 Specialty projects as needed Qualifications u2022 Has obtained an undergraduate BS degree in Diesel/Automotive Technology, Heavy Equipment Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Construction Management u2022 2+ years of experience with mining or heavy civil equipment is preferred. Internships considered. u2022 2+ years of experience with equipment planning, scheduling, and budgeting is preferred.
