Responsible for the safe handling and processing of catering commissary & equipment as required by company, regulatory requirements and best practices. Receiving, shipping, inventorying, binning and cycle counts. General housekeeping, cleaning organizing and upkeep of the warehouse facilities and equipment.Receiving, binning, shipping and issuing of supplies & equipmentPreplan commissary and catering supplies based on aircraft rotationsConduct inventory checks at catering vendor and on aircraftVerify accurate and operable catering equipment is on each flightEnsure proper inventory is prepared and delivered to downline caterersCommunicate any inventory or planning deficiencies, tracking and monitoring performanceIdentify and requisition needed catering equipment repairsCreate Repair Orders for unserviceable parts as directed by Repairs Department and or supervisorResponsible to execute monthly and weekly tasks as assigned such as Calibration & Shelf-Life review, Cycle/Inventory counts.Utilize computer system to maintain and update inventory in a timely mannerMonitors shipping and station supplies; advises Supervisor of shortages and requirementsCoordinate with HDQ Catering department for assisting the operations Maintain & Coordinate with all the downline stations inventory Daily warehouse housekeeping, cleaning, sweeping, organizing of parts supplies and equipmentOperate forklifts to move materials in the warehousesAudit outbound meals to ensure departures’ catering matches approved ordersAudit inbound meals to analyze meal and beverage leftoversKeep management informed of any operational issues that may affect/impact operational performanceEnsure customers, vendors and employees adhere to current operating requirements and focus items affecting ground operationsMonitor ramp activities and performance to deliver safe and timely aircraft catering/commissary handlingAny special projects or assignments High School Diploma or GED requiredMinimum 2 years’ experience in inventory, warehousing, distribution, or related functions required2 years or more of Forklift experience preferredPrevious airline experience preferredPrevious cycle counting and inventory reconciling experience preferredAttend/pass required trainings for recurrent, refreshment or (re)certification revalidation trainingsAcquire all identification badges required for the position, control the expiration and renewalMust have strong familiarity with MS Excel, Word and OutlookSpecial Demands:Available to work flexible hours as the operation requires including but not limited to night shift, weekends, holidays and extended hours as neededAbility to travel as required supporting operational needsMust possess a valid Driver’s License and clean driving record Must be able to pass ten year background check and obtain airport security badgeFrequent: lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling of moderately heavy weight objects (up to 70 pounds); controlling or driving materials handling equipment in a congested warehouse environment.
