Description For more information contact Stacey Bowman at 859-788-3661 We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Russell Springs, Kentucky. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in financial operations and accounting principles. The ideal candidate will handle a variety of tasks, including payroll management, reconciliations, and oversight of accounts payable and receivable. Responsibilities: u2022 Manage payroll processes to ensure timely and accurate payments to employees. u2022 Perform treasury functions, including cash management and bank reconciliations. u2022 Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable operations to maintain financial accuracy. u2022 Prepare and review journal entries to ensure compliance with accounting standards. u2022 Conduct month-end close procedures and ensure financial reports are completed on time. u2022 Reconcile accounts to maintain accuracy and resolve discrepancies. u2022 Analyze general ledger accounts and ensure proper documentation for all transactions. u2022 Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial operations and reporting. u2022 Monitor and review organizational payments to ensure proper authorization and processing. Requirements u2022 Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or a related field. u2022 Proficiency in month-end close processes and financial reporting. u2022 Strong understanding of general ledger operations and journal entries. u2022 Demonstrated ability to perform account and bank reconciliations. u2022 Expertise in managing payroll systems and processes. u2022 Solid knowledge of accounting principles and practices. u2022 Advanced proficiency in Excel for financial analysis and reporting. u2022 Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
