Grocery Retail Deli Clerk Location: Sisters, Oregon Pay: $19 Schedule: will vary between 7:00 am - 8:00 pm Monday - Sunday Job Summary We’re looking for a friendly, detail-oriented Deli Clerk to join our grocery retail team in Sisters, OR. This role involves preparing and serving deli products, maintaining a clean and organized deli area, and delivering exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities Prepare and package deli items including meats, cheeses, salads, and sandwiches per customer requests and store standards Slice and portion deli products using proper equipment and techniques Maintain a clean, attractive, and well-stocked deli case with accurate labeling and pricing Provide prompt, courteous assistance to customers at the deli counter, answering questions about products and preparation methods Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe environment Monitor inventory and communicate with the deli manager to maintain adequate stock levels Operate and maintain deli equipment such as slicers, scales, and refrigeration units Support overall cleanliness and organization of the deli department and adjacent areas Qualifications & Skills Previous experience in a deli or food service setting preferred Familiarity with deli products, preparation techniques, and food safety standards Strong customer service and communication skills Attention to detail and ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights Team-oriented with a flexible schedule, including availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays Interested?
