Summary: Provides direct patient care under the direction and supervision of an RN or LPN. Required Certification: Basic Life Support from American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or Military Training Network. Minimum Qualifications: You may qualify for the position through one of the following ways: u00b7 6 months acute care experience as a patient caregiver u00b7 1-year Skilled Nursing Facility experience as a patient caregiver u00b7 Successful completion of Nursing Fundamentals from an RN or LPN program u00b7 Successful completion of a Baycare approved Nurse Assistant/PCT program that includes a minimum of 40 hours of hands-on patient care experience outside of a lab setting Education : Minimum of a high school diploma or GED; may also qualify with a Certificate of Completion Summary: Provides direct patient care under the direction and supervision of an RN or LPN.
