Description We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in Heber Springs, Arkansas. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and eager to contribute to the financial operations of our company. The position involves managing customer accounts, processing payments, and ensuring timely collections, while providing support for month-end financial activities. Responsibilities: u2022 Manage and maintain accurate billing systems to ensure timely invoicing and collections. u2022 Follow up on overdue payments, allocate received payments, and monitor customer accounts for irregularities. u2022 Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies with invoices and payments. u2022 Prepare and process bank deposits, as well as reconcile bank statements. u2022 Investigate customer inquiries and provide effective resolutions. u2022 Process adjustments to invoices and initiate collection efforts as needed. u2022 Organize and maintain accounts receivable files and documentation. u2022 Collaborate with vendors and customers to address inquiries and maintain strong working relationships. Requirements u2022 Prior experience in accounts receivable or a related field is preferred. u2022 Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. u2022 Proficiency in billing, collections, and account reconciliation processes. u2022 Familiarity with accounting software and financial reporting tools. u2022 Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and vendors. u2022 Ability to work independently in a quiet, focused environment. u2022 A degree in accounting or finance is preferred but not required. u2022 A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
