Description Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Associate FLSA Status: Full Time - non-exempt Reports to: Property Manager, Camp Director Schedule: 40 hours Rate of Pay: $19.00/ hour Closing Date: 1/20/2026 Benefits: Standard; Full-Time, Non-Exempt employees are eligible for but not limited to the following: + Health, vision, dental, life as well as voluntary life and disability insurance + Sick leave benefit u2013 1 day per month, 12 sick days per year (accrual and availability begins at hire) + Vacation benefit u2013 10 vacation days per year, accrued at the rate of .0385 hours for each hour worked, excluding overtime (accrual begins at hire but may not be used until the completion of six months of employment) + One floating day off for use (accrued immediately, and again annually, but may not be used until the completion of the initial three-month introductory period of employment) + Pension Plan (after one year of continuous service) + Voluntary Tax-Deferred Annuity Plan (403(b)plan) Duties and Responsibilities: u00b7 Assists Property Manager with maintenance programs for heating, water, gas, electrical, mechanical, grounds, carpentry, painting, plumbing, building exteriors, etc. u00b7 Assists Property Manager in identifying needed repairs or replacements. u00b7 Completes minor repairs (i.e., small appliances, small equipment). u00b7 Assists with preventive maintenance to refurbish or replace deteriorating items and avoid future costly repairs. u00b7 Advises Property Manager concerning needed equipment repairs or low supplies. u00b7 Completes special projects as directed (i.e., room alterations, major repairs). u00b7 Assists in housekeeping duties when needed. u00b7 Lifts and moves heavy furniture and equipment. u00b7 Keeps grounds litter-free. u00b7 Assists with landscaping and lawn maintenance. u00b7 Assists with the removal of snow, ice, and other traffic hazards. u00b7 Assists with floor maintenance (vacuuming, mopping). u00b7 Assist with vehicle maintenance and upkeep. u00b7 Be responsible for the needs of all staff members in regard to repairs, janitorial, and maintenance in their respective areas. u00b7 Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and handle and prioritize simultaneous requests. u00b7 Remain in full compliance with all Salvation Army policies and procedures outlined within the employee handbook and directed by authorized Salvation Army departments. u00b7 Perform other duties as assigned by the Camp Director or other administrative staff. Qualification and Education Requirements: u00b7 21+ years of age u00b7 Must possess a valid CO driveru2019s license. u00b7 Ability to operate a standard camp vehicle. u00b7 Education and/or work experience commensurate with the duties and responsibilities required. u00b7 Ability to speak and write the English language with professional-level skill. u00b7 Be supportive of The Salvation Armyu2019s mission.
