We are seeking a Wastewater Operator for assignment in Southbridge, Massachusetts. The selected candidate will perform a variety of tasks in the operations and maintenance of a wastewater treatment plantHours are Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm** This position requires a Class B Commercial Drivers License (CDL) **** This posiiton requires a valid Wastewater Operator License; or the ability to obtain one **** This position has a rotating on-call schedule **- Preventive maintenance- Establish and maintain effective sample procedures of plant operations and effluent- Diagnose operating problems- Make process control adjustments- Direct and perform necessary corrective action- Prepare reports- Collect samples- Perform laboratory testing- Determine proper chemical flow rates- Maintain shift logs - Perform other duties as required- High School Diploma or GED- A valid Drivers License- A valid Wastewater Operator License- A valid Class B Commercial Drivers License (CDL)- 1+ years experience operating a wastewater treatment facility
