The Automation Tech is responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining plant/field instrumentation and equipment. This is an extremely “hands-on” position requiring outdoor field work that also requires being part of a rotation with others to support the field on after-hours and on-call basis.Ability to read and follow loop drawings and P&IDs to install, maintain and troubleshoot control devices.Ability to maintain and troubleshoot instruments and end devices <50V (transmitters, guided wave radars, valves, switches, sensors etc.)Ability to troubleshoot and maintain communication equipment and components. (Radio equipment, various network switches)List of common instrument control equipment to be serviced. (Allen Bradley PLC’s, ROC 827, FB3000, various HMI’s)3+ yrs. of Automation Tech experience preferred.Journeyman's License preferred.Ability to respond to afterhours issues will be required when scheduled on call.High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.Must be able to meet all conditional job offer requirements including background, drug test, MVR, agility and fit for duty.
