In this role, you will wear many different hats and have the potential to work in several different areas of the facility. Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to ushering, ticket scanning, concourse customer service, greeter, bag checker, etc. You will have the opportunity to assist our guests by offering directions and sharing information while creating a World Class experience. Exhibit Hall, 8 Meeting Rooms and over 3,000 sq. ft. of pre-function space. The ArcBest PAC boasts a 1,331-seat state-of-the-art Performing Arts Center just steps from historic downtown Fort Smith, Arkansas.Prepare your assigned area for guests; looking for potential hazards, reporting any issues to a supervisorWhen doors open, welcome our guests with a great smile and helpful attitudeScan event tickets ensuring that the proper ticket is being used to gain entryAssist guests in locating their ticketed seats, event roomBeing alert and proactive to potential hazards and reporting incidents when they occurMonitor your assigned area for issues and opportunities to make lasting memories for our fansRespond to all guest concerns/complaints promptly and in a professional mannerAssist guests in ADA accessible seating sectionsEnforce all building policies and procedures to ensure a safe environment for all guestsManage the foot traffic flow of large crowdsBag checks at entryCheck identification of guests to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol.Be knowledgeable about arena emergency evacuation plan in order to safely assist guests during the unlikely event of an emergency.Experience in a hospitality or entertainment environment is preferredYou must love working with and helping people.Ability to stand for long periods of time.You must be able to maintain a POSITIVE attitude while handling difficult situations.Flexible schedule: Weekend availability is needed.At OVG, we understand that to continue positively disrupting the sports and live entertainment industry, we need a diverse team to help us do it.
