Description We are looking for an entry-level Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Pico Rivera, California. Responsibilities: u2022 Process invoices accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper coding and compliance with company policies. u2022 Perform data entry tasks to maintain accurate records of accounts payable transactions. u2022 Reconcile accounts to verify payment accuracy and resolve discrepancies. u2022 Prepare and execute check runs in a timely manner. u2022 Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to address invoice-related inquiries. u2022 Assist in maintaining organized and up-to-date documentation for auditing purposes. u2022 Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, and Oracle to manage workflows. u2022 Support monthly and quarterly closing activities as needed. u2022 Ensure adherence to financial controls and procedures to maintain accuracy. u2022 Provide additional administrative support to the accounting department as required. Requirements u2022 Basic knowledge of accounts payable processes and accounting principles. u2022 Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle. u2022 Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and processing. u2022 Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a light workflow environment. u2022 Excellent communication skills for vendor and team interaction. u2022 Willingness to learn and adapt to new accounting tools and procedures. u2022 High school diploma or equivalent; further education in accounting is a plus. u2022 Previous experience in accounts payable or general accounting is preferred but not required.
