Experience in the position for which the applicant is applyingis preferred.Required License/Registration/CertificationApplicants applying for an aquatics or Camp Program Educator position mustpossess a lifeguard certification from a nationally recognized organizationvalid through the entirety of summer and/or complete an aquatics trainingand certification session with 4-H staff. Lifeguards must be able to swim up to500 yards lap swim without stopping, tread water for 2 minutes without useof hands, and retrieve a 10 pound object from 10 feet of water withoutgoggles.Physical RequirementsApplicant must be available to work long hours in a noisy environment,work in outside/hot conditions, and be on feet for long periods of time.ShiftDays, nights, and some weekends.
