HDT Global - Spokane, proud Manufacturer of Berg Rigid Wall Shelters, is seeking a skilled, motivated and dedicated individuals for our open Painter positionAs a Federal Contractor, Employment is contingent upon successfully passing a background check and a pre-employment drug test, including marijuana.We are hiring a Manufacturing Painter to prepare, prime, and paint fabricated metal parts used in the production of BERG/HDT shelters. This role focuses on liquid spray painting in a manufacturing environment and plays a key role in final product quality.ResponsibilitiesPrepare fabricated metal parts for painting, including setup and maskingApply liquid coatings to prepared surfaces using approved spray equipmentFollow visual and written work instructions to meet quality and finish standardsEnsure correct color, coverage, and overall appearance of painted partsIdentify and correct minor paint defects such as runs, dry spray, or uneven coverageClean and maintain paint equipment, tools, and work areas according to standard proceduresFollow all safety, PPE, and environmental requirementsCommunicate quality concerns or issues to supervision promptlySupport team operations and assist with other departmental tasks as assignedUphold company values, safety standards, and quality expectationsQualificationsExperience with liquid spray painting in a manufacturing or industrial environment (preferred)Basic knowledge of paint application techniques and surface preparationAbility to follow detailed instructions and quality standardsStrong attention to detail and pride in workmanshipAbility to work safely with paints, solvents, and related materialsReliable attendance and ability to work in a production settingHigh school diploma or equivalentAbility to read and write English, use a tape measure and use simple mathWhat WE offer:Employees (and their families) are covered by Medical, Dental and VisionEmployees are covered by Short Term and Long Term Disability and Basic Life Insurance, Paid 100% by the company401(k) plan10 paid holidays80 Hours Accrued PTO year 1Does this opportunity sound too good to pass up?
