Temco Logistics is seeking a skilled and dependable CDL A Delivery Truck Driver to join our team In this role, youu2019ll operate a flatbed tractor-trailer to deliver a variety of home improvement suppliesu2014including drywall, building materials, and lumberu2014to customer sites. Youu2019ll be the face of Temco, fostering strong customer relationships through a positive, professional attitude while ensuring timely and accurate deliveries. This is a local delivery positionu2014youu2019ll be home daily with early morning routes, making it ideal for those who enjoy physical work and customer interaction. Key Responsibilities: + Safely operate flatbed trucks to deliver building materials to residential and commercial sites. + Load and unload freight manually or using equipment such as forklifts or Moffettu2019s; ensure all cargo is properly secured. + Complete deliveries according to route schedule while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. + Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain safety and DOT compliance. + Accurately maintain delivery logs, paperwork, and communication with dispatch. Deliver outstanding service by communicating effectively with customers and store staff. Qualifications: + Minimum age of 21 years. + Valid Class A CDL license. + 2u20135 years of recent, verifiable CDL A driving experience. + At least 1 year of flatbed experience required. + Flexibility to work varying schedules to meet operational needs, including every Saturday. + Current DOT Medical Card. + Ability to pass a DOT urine drug screen and physical agility test. + Must be able to lift a minimum of 70 lbs and unload freight manually. + Clean criminal background check. + No drug/alcohol tests failed while holding a CDL A license (NO SAP participants). + Excellent driving record: no major violations in the last 12 months and no more than 2 in the past 3 years. + Forklift certification or Moffett experience is a huge plus Benefits: + Best-in-Class Pay + Paid Training + Uniforms & PPE Provided + Medical + FREE Dental & Vision + 401(k) with Company Match + Paid Time Off + Career Growth Opportunities u2013 advance into leadership roles. _Temco Logistics is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
