SummaryWorld Insurance Associates is a unique insurance organization offering top products and services from major providers, combined with attentive service from local agents.Founded in 2011, World is the second fastest-growing insurance broker in the U.S. We specialize in personal and commercial insurance lines, surety and bonding, employee benefits, financial and retirement services, and human capital management solutions.Position OverviewThe Receptionist at World Insurance Associates is responsible for managing calls coming into the main phone line, receiving, and distributing mail, as well as additional administrative duties to support the office.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesFirst line of contact to receive and distribute a high volume of calls coming into phone lineDistribute faxes via the agency management systemResponsible for keeping inventory of all office supplies and placing approved orders for replenishment as neededPerforms all other general administrative related duties as assignedResponsible for receiving, processing and distribution of physical and electronic mail as neededAssist in any processing for Commercial Lines and Personal Lines departmentsQualificationsWork experience with customer service responsibilitiesComputer savvy and proficient in MS Office including Power Points, Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe.Excellent verbal communication skillsAbility to multi-task in a fast paced and deadline driven environmentMust be able to maintain professionalism and a positive service attitudeCan handle sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity and confidentialityStrong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills requiredExceptional customer service skills, over the phone and in person, with our customers and internal departmentsSense of urgency and problem-solving skillsCompensationThis position is located in Illinois. The base salary for this position at the time of this posting may range from $20,000 to $40,000. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including business needs, experience, level of responsibility, and qualifications.
