Job DescriptionThe Facilities Management Engineering Senior Specialist performs preventative and ongoing maintenance for mechanical, electrical, plumbing and other infrastructure systems in mission-critical, high-risk, or high-reliability environments to ensure operational efficiency and maximum facility uptime. This role regularly inspects and monitors equipment and responds to irregular or malfunctioning conditions.Key Responsibilitiesu2022 Assists with oversight of vendors to develop and implement facilities plans, including Request for Proposals, Request for Information, bids, etc...u2022 Provides reports on KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) pertaining to space, power and availabilityu2022 Applies expertise and integrates knowledge to the development of concepts and techniques and process improvementsu2022 Identifies and resolves potential issues and works with others to ensure data center uptime and project successu2022 Acts as a key individual contributor as a team member, providing influence, knowledge sharing, training, mentoring and direction to other staff engineers and peersu2022 Collaborates with partner data centers at all timesu2022 Reviews major design modifications/upgrades in accordance with applicable codes including compliance and safetyu2022 Participates in industry standards where applicable and conducts benchmarkingu2022 Creates and reviews all mission critical MOPs(Method of Procedures) and SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for accuracy, safety and to assess the potential for business impactu2022 Provides support of remote facilities when requiredLocation and Work HoursLocation: Rochelle, IL (on-site role)Work hours (Monday - Friday) 3:00PM - 11:30PM CST2nd shift has a 10% shift differentialSkillsBidding Process, Client Management, Cross-Functional Teamwork, Facility Engineering, Facility Maintenance, Fire Protection Engineering, HVAC Systems, Key Performance Indicators (KPI), Maintenance Strategy, Problem Solving, Process Improvements, Product Safety, Product Safety Standards, Project Coordination, Request for Information (RFI)CompensationCompensation offered for this role is 37.98 - 52.70 per hour and is based on experience and qualifications.The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation.Joining our team isn't just a job u2014 it's an opportunity.
