Preferred Experience and Qualifications:Bachelor’s in Food Science, Hospitality Management or related fieldExperience working with SNHD regulations Management experienceServSafe certification is required.Our ideal Food Service Sanitation Manager candidate will have experience working with Southern Nevada Health District (SNHD) regulations, BOH management and/or a Bachelor’s in Food Science, Hospitality Management or a related field. We participate in E-Verify / Participamos en E-VerifyMaintain an ongoing expertise of all current Company, NSF, federal, state and local government agency standards; plan and manage food service sanitation and safety policies, programs and procedures to comply with those standards and reduce risk to guests and employeesCreate, maintain and implement food service sanitation and safety policies, procedures and programs; constantly monitor adherence and conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with all applicable food service sanitation and safety standards, policies, programs and procedures; identify and remedy compliance shortfalls and other potential food service sanitation and safety risks and hazardsLiaise with SNHD and other government agency and third-party representatives as the Company’s representative at all times; prepare for all audits and inspections and follow up with a plan to address deficiencies and drive continuous improvementsDevelop, maintain and regularly deliver food service sanitation and safety training programs to all restaurant team membersDrive Company programs that oversee all team members’ compliance with required Company and government training programs and requirements, including but not limited to ServSafe and HACCP training and certificationInvestigate and appropriately document any food service sanitation and safety incidents or breaches, and develop corrective action plans to prevent future occurrencesMaintain accurate records of inspections, training sessions, and compliance efforts, and report findings to managementPartner with GM and management team to interview, hire, onboard, train, supervise and develop all BOH employees and teams as neededModel and promote teamwork across all teamsUse tact and good judgment when dealing with challenges pertaining to guests, vendors and employees, and respond with patience and courtesyWork a variety of days and shifts (including early mornings, late nights and weekends) at multiple sites with or without overnight travel, as neededMove and lift up to 10 pounds, frequently move and/or lift up to 25 pounds, occasionally move and/or lift up to 50 pounds2+ years of culinary experience in a full-service restaurantStrong knowledge of food safety regulations (e.g., ServSafe certification)Ability to multitask in a fast-paced kitchen environmentSkilled in managing department spending through effective sourcing, ordering and record-keeping practicesUSD $70,000.00 - USD $90,000.00 /Yr.
