Duties/Responsibilities: u00b7 Ensure adherence to safety regulation and standard. Follow Safety culture and wear PPE when required. u00b7 Analyze vendors for Cost Saving Improvements. u00b7 Reviews requisitions and creates purchase orders, then monitor order status to ensure timely delivery. u00b7 Finding and evaluating potential suppliers, negotiating prices, terms, and delivery schedules. u00b7 Work with operating system to maintain accuracy of purchase orders to clearly communicate availability dates and quantities to internal customers. u00b7 Purchase items at the most favorable price consistent with quality, quantity, and specification requirements. u00b7 Communicate with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers, vendors, and internal departments. u00b7 Maintain current and potential source information in connection with materials and responsible for file management on all Raw material certs. u00b7 Negotiates with suppliers regarding price, lead time, order quantities, shipping terms, and delivery expectations in accordance with strategic objectives. u00b7 Attends weekly production meetings to advise on raw material order status. u00b7 Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers to ensure reliable supply and competitive pricing. u00b7 Selecting and maintaining sources of supply, using progressive purchasing techniques and methods. u00b7 Resolves quality/delivery discrepancies and maintains clear, timely communication to internal stakeholders. u00b7 Negotiate vendor rejections and settlement.
