Youu2019ll lead the design, fabrication, fitting, and follow-up of prosthetic devices tailored to each patientu2019s needs. ABC Certification or completion of a Residency Program (Board Eligible) is required, with 3 years of experience as a CPO. If you value connection, initiative, and impactu2014weu2019d love to hear from you _Employer will not sponsor work visas for this position now or in the future and is not interested in corp.-to-corp. business arrangements at this time._ Benefits and Incentives : + Multiple health plans: PPO and HSA options through BC/BS + Dental/vision/prescription/disability/supplemental life insurance and more + Company matching 401(k) + Generous paid time off (PTO) and extended illness days (EID) + Indefinite student debt benefit program + Industrywide unmatched continuing education program + Competitive compensation with annual performance reviews Responsibilities + Oversees all stages of design, fabrication, fitting and maintenance of orthotic/prosthetic devices related to patientsu2019 needs, as indicated by a physician. + Assists physicians with the evaluation and analysis of the patientu2019s need for orthotic/prosthetic services. + Ensures proper patient management is consistent with established practices for orthotic/prosthetic care. + Identifies and reconciles issues/problems to ensure patient satisfaction with devices provided. + Ensures highest standards of patient care are provided to all patients, including but not limited to adequate follow-up with patients and physicians. + Reviews new techniques and materials to ensure the widest range of flexibility and services offered. + Maintains accurate documentation to clearly define goals, issues and solutions for each patient. + Provides administrative staff with information to conduct reimbursement activities. + Provides information to facility management to ensure proper management of inventory and materials. + Meets with physicians, case managers and other referral sources to market orthotics/prosthetics services and capabilities. + Provides on-call services, as necessary. + Recommends treatment options to physicians, when necessary. Qualifications + Bacheloru2019s degree from an accredited college or university from a recognized Orthotics and Prosthetics school. + American Board Certified (ABC) certification in Orthotics and Prosthetics required. + Minimum of three (3) years of experience in providing orthotic/prosthetic services under the supervision of a certified practitioner.
