Whatu2019s a typical day as a Maintenance Worker? Youu2019ll be: - Assisting in various general field operations under direct supervision, including roguing, where you identify and remove undesirable corn plants. - Helping with planting and irrigation set-up, including securing drip irrigation tapes and connecting irrigation lines post-planting. - Participating in the husking and sorting process, identifying and sorting undesirable corn under the guidance of the sorting lead. - Supporting the shelling process by helping separate kernels from cobs and ensuring equipment cleanliness after each material process. - Performing additional manual labor tasks such as lifting and moving materials, loading and unloading vehicles, digging and refilling holes, and maintaining grounds and fields.
