MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT As an Electronics Engineer, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of the US Navy. You will play a crucial role in upgrading, designing, implementing and testing advanced systems. Description: + Designs, fabricates, modifies, and evaluates electronic apparatus, components, or circuitry for use in electronic equipment and devices + Designs, test, inspect, and update electronic systems, components, equipment along with software + Analyze customer needs and determine the requirements, capacity, and cost for developing an electrical system plan or product + Evaluate systems and recommend design modifications or equipment repair + Inspect electronic equipment, instruments, and systems to make sure they meet safety standards and applicable regulations + Draft specifications, instructions, and reports + Partner with other internal and/or external stakeholders as well as clients to ensure projects are successfully completed to specifications + Stay abreast of emerging trends and technology WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED Bring your engineering expertise along with a drive for innovation to GDIT. The Electronics Engineer must have: ? Education: Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering ? Experience: 2+ years of related experience ? Technical skills: Experience with: + Sensors and data acquisition + Signal processing and analysis + Software experience with LabView and MATLAB + Linux database administration ? Security clearance level: Must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET clearance ? US citizenship required ?
