$125 per diem for the position located in Cape Canaveral, FL Job Title: Electrical PLC Technician Job Description We are seeking a skilled Technician who will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical and control systems. The ideal candidate will have a experience in instrumentation and data acquisition systems, as well as the ability to work independently on complex projects with minimal oversight. Responsibilities + Install and terminate wiring to pad instrumentation and data acquisition systems. + Install connectors, connector pins, terminals, and lugs. + Perform continuity checks and correct wiring errors using instruments such as ohmmeters and voltage calibrators. + Support fellow technicians and engineering staff using shop assembly equipment and hand tools. + Collaborate with design engineers to troubleshoot failures and issues derived from test data. + Create and organize work planning documents and instructions. + Generate purchase orders from vendor quotes. + Lead complex projects with little to no oversight. + Install and modify electrical conveyances, including conduit and cable tray. + Build and terminate electrical power equipment up to 480VAC. + Troubleshoot and maintain PLC-based manufacturing hardware. + Fabricate support structures, enclosures, and conveyances for electrical distribution equipment. Essential Skills + High school diploma or equivalency certificate. + 1+ years of professional experience working with instrumentation such as transducers, accelerometers, or thermocouples. + Understanding of basic direct current electrical theory. + Ability to design and fabricate simple electrical circuits. + Proficiency in using power and hand tools. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cape Canaveral, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $38.00/hr.
