Job Description We are seeking an On-Site Support Engineer to work within a major MVPD operations facility. This role supports the daily operation, monitoring, and troubleshooting of customer's AWS-based Linear Video Distribution Platform. The engineer will ensure reliable content delivery, maintain integrations with back-office systems, and serve as the primary technical point of contact for the customer. What Youu2019ll Do u2022u2003Act as the on-site technical lead for cloud video distribution platform. u2022u2003Work closely with the customeru2019s operations/engineering teams to maintain uptime and resolve issues. u2022u2003Validate SRT feeds, source quality, channel configurations, and lineup accuracy. u2022u2003Support service changes and ensure alignment across customer systems and endpoints. u2022u2003Perform configuration updates and assist with platform integrations following change control processes. u2022u2003Monitor alarms, KPIs, and system health; help the customer interpret telemetry. u2022u2003Troubleshoot issues across ingest, transcode, packaging, DRM, CDN, and DAI workflows; drive root cause analysis and escalate when needed. u2022u2003Create and update runbooks, procedures, and operational documentation. u2022u2003Collaborate with remote engineering and product teams to resolve complex technical problems. u2022u2003Provide on-site technical insight for upgrades, new features, and architecture improvements. u2022u2003Participate in incident reviews and continuous service improvement efforts. u2022u2003Support API-related questions for monitoring, dashboards, and NMS integrations. Compensation: $55/hr to $65/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
