Description We are looking for a dedicated Vendor Relations Clerk to join our client's team in Windsor, Connecticut. This role involves managing vendor interactions, coordinating service requests, and ensuring smooth operations through effective communication and problem-solving. As this is a long-term contract position, you will play a key role in maintaining high standards of service and driving continuous improvement. Responsibilities: u2022 Coordinate vendor services to address customer repair and equipment requests efficiently. u2022 Record and track incoming issues in designated systems, ensuring timely follow-ups with vendors and clients. u2022 Provide regular updates to customers and maintain accurate system records. u2022 Resolve daily vendor-related concerns by collaborating with internal teams for quick solutions. u2022 Review quotes and vendor information to determine appropriate actions, such as ordering parts or coordinating services. u2022 Verify the accuracy of work orders in systems to ensure proper processing, reporting, and billing. u2022 Manage service orders within assigned territories, meeting individual and team performance metrics. u2022 Analyze current processes and recommend improvements to optimize vendor operations. u2022 Interact with external stakeholders to address operational challenges effectively. u2022 Support the onboarding of new vendors and contribute to the development of improved vendor processes. Requirements u2022 High School Diploma or equivalent education. u2022 Strong customer service skills with the ability to manage vendor relationships effectively. u2022 Proficiency in office functions, including data entry and reporting. u2022 Experience with process improvement and operational procedures is preferred. u2022 Ability to work both onsite and remotely in a hybrid schedule. u2022 Solid organizational skills to maintain accuracy in billing and data management. u2022 Competence in using systems to track and verify work orders. u2022 Excellent communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external partners.
