JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Pathway Interns will work directly as a functioning member of multiple teams within Nelnet. Interns will rotate through a variety of business departments across the enterprise, adding value to projects already in place or creating new ones to own yourself. In addition, they will collaborate with other interns to complete multiple projects based on real business problems Nelnet faces today. Through this program, we have scheduled events, programming, networking, and mentorship opportunities that interns _will be expected to participate in._ Marketing Track u2013 Creativity Meets Strategy Help us tell Nelnetu2019s story and engage associates in meaningful ways. As a Marketing Pathway Intern, youu2019ll explore the world of communications and marketing, gaining hands-on experience in creating content, managing campaigns, and supporting engagement initiatives. Youu2019ll work alongside experienced professionals to learn the full processu2014from brainstorming ideas to delivering impactful materials. You will receive: Computer Equipment: Laptop, monitor, keyboard, and mouse, for the duration of your internship. Day-to-day support from direct manager(s), the formal Nelnet Mentor Program, campus recruiting, and Nelnet support functions regarding any questions you might have. EDUCATION: Enrolled in a 4-year degree, preferable sophomore or junior status, in majors such as Marketing, Communication, Advertising and Public Relations, Graphic Design, or other Marketing-related majors. EXPERIENCE: + Strong writing and editing skills for various audiences and platforms (e.g., newsletters, web content, social media). + Familiarity with marketing principles, branding, and content creation. + Basic understanding of social media trends and digital communication strategies. + Experience with video creation and editing tools (preferred but not required). + Comfortable using technology and learning new tools quickly (e.g., SharePoint, content management systems). + Ability to conduct research and apply creative thinking to marketing projects.
