Job Title: Finish Carpenter Job Description The Finish Carpenter plays a key role in a residential homeu2011building manufacturing facility, working collaboratively with a skilled team to complete interior finishing tasks with precision and craftsmanship. This role requires strong carpentry expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to follow specifications to deliver highu2011quality finishes throughout each home. Responsibilities + Install interior finish components including trim, baseboards, crown molding, doors, window casings, cabinets, and builtu2011ins + Read and interpret blueprints, finish schedules, and design specifications + Ensure accurate measurement, cutting, fitting, and installation of all finish materials + Perform sanding, caulking, patching, staining, and sealing to achieve highu2011quality finished surfaces + Operate a wide range of hand and power tools safely and effectively + Join materials using appropriate fasteners such as nails, screws, adhesives, and specialty hardware + Collaborate with the construction team to meet production timelines and maintain consistent workflow + Inspect completed work to ensure precision, structural integrity, and adherence to quality standards + Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Essential Skills + Proven proficiency in finish carpentry within residential construction + Strong understanding of trim work, cabinetry, millwork installation, and general interior finishing + Ability to read blueprints and follow detailed construction plans + Skilled in using hand tools and power tools required for fine carpentry + Capable of performing general framing, drywall patching, or light carpentry when needed + Experience with doors, windows, hardware installation, and interior finish systems Additional Skills & Qualifications + Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing highu2011quality workmanship + Ability to perform custom layouts, detailed cuts, and precise finish applications + Knowledge of safety standards, proper PPE use, and safe tool operation + Strong problemu2011solving ability for custom designs and onu2011site adjustments + Ability to work independently or collaboratively with a team + Excellent time management and organizational skills Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sacramento, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
