Landscaper / Hardscaper Location: St. Louis South/Jefferson County Employment Type: Full-Time | Seasonal & Year-Round OpportunitiesPay Range: $20 - $30 per hour (DOE)Skilled hardscapers, crew leads, and operators may earn more based on experience, certifications, and equipment proficiency. Position Overview We are seeking reliable entry level and skilled Landscapers / Hardscapers to join crews supporting a variety of residential, commercial, and municipal projects. This role requires hands-on experience with landscape construction, outdoor installation, and property improvement. Ideal candidates take pride in craftsmanship, understand site safety, and can execute projects efficiently in outdoor environments. Key Responsibilities Hardscaping & Construction Install pavers, retaining walls, patios, walkways, steps, fire pits, and outdoor living features Perform site layout, grading, excavation, and base preparation (compaction, leveling, drainage) Cut, fit, and set stone, brick, concrete block, and segmental retaining wall systems Read and follow site plans, measurements, elevations, and project specifications Landscaping & Grounds Work Sod installation, hydroseeding, planting trees, shrubs, and perennials Mulching, edging, trimming, pruning, and bed maintenance Operate irrigation and drainage components where applicable Maintain job site cleanliness and proper material staging Equipment & Tool Operation Safely operate hand and power tools (plate compactors, demo saws, cut-off saws, tampers) Operate equipment such as skid steers, mini excavators, trenchers, compact loaders (where qualified) Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance Compensation & Benefits Overtime opportunities on active projects Weekly pay options through the agency Long-term and direct-hire opportunities with top employers Growth potential into lead, foreman, or equipment operator roles Safety equipment and tools provided by client companies #ARMO
