As the Installation & Modernization Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring that today is safe and tomorrow is smarter. Our work depends on your leadership as you join the Navy and Marine Corps Sector to lead a multi-disciplinary team of highly skilled professionals. In this role, you will support the installation and modernization of Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) command and control systems for the Department of Navy (DON), Department of War (DoW), and other government agency projects. As the Installation & Modernization Manager, you will Plan, direct, and coordinate operations across multiple projects; Formulate policies, oversee daily operations, and manage the use of materials and human resources; Act as the overall installation lead, manager, and administrator for the contracted project, reporting directly to the contract Program Manager. In this role, a typical day may include: u25cfPlan, coordinate, and oversee shipboard installation activities for USW systems, including installation planning, execution, testing, and post-installation close-out across new construction and in-service platforms. u25cfManage installation readiness activities, including participation in Installation Readiness Reviews (IRRs), development and maintenance of Installation Control Drawings (ICDs) and Ship Installation Drawings (SIDs), and tracking installation milestones. u25cfCoordinate execution of Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and Engineering Changes (ECs), including pre-test, installation, post-test, configuration updates, and completion reporting. u25cfOversee space close-out activities at the end of ship availabilities, including resolution of visual and mechanical discrepancies, corrective maintenance, and installation discrepancy closure. u25cf Travel: Up to 15% WHAT YOUu2019LL NEED TO SUCCEED Bring your expertise along with a drive for innovation to GDIT. The likely salary range for this position is $119,000 - $161,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
