The Paving Crew Skilled Laborer is a critical part of our production team and will perform tasks involving physical labor in parking lots and beside active roadways by operating hand tools (pick, shovel, asphalt lute, backpack blower).Use of tools to clean and prepare surface for asphalt pavingManual labor including shoveling, brooming and rakingGeneral labor duties associated with asphalt paving and patchingRequired ability to rake asphalt to establish smooth seems, around utilities, and drainage in asphalt surfacesEquipment and job cleanup as necessaryAbility to operate small power toolsAssist in the placement, moving and dismantling of traffic control devicesPerform additional duties as assignedTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
