Job Title: Concrete Carpenter Job Description We are seeking a skilled Concrete Carpenter to join our team. You will typically work from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with the possibility of up to 50 hours per week if needed. You will assist on two sites, where your duties will include designing and building forms, pouring concrete, and then spreading and smoothing it using various tools. You will also be responsible for the installation of doors and windows, layout for stairs and common rafters, reading blueprints, utilizing appropriate math skills, and performing layout work. Responsibilities + Design and build concrete forms. + Pour, spread, and smooth concrete using various tools. + Install doors and drill/set door hardware. + Install windows. + Layout for stairs and common rafters. + Read blueprints and perform layout tasks using appropriate math skills. + Form and place concrete footings, piers, walls, and columns. + Utilize pump, place, and finish techniques for concrete placement. + Place concrete on slab on grade and elevated decks. + Utilize signals and rigging techniques effectively. + Communicate and understand both verbal and written instructions effectively. + Organize, sequence, and perform assigned tasks within the schedule. Essential Skills + Experience in concrete, construction, carpentry, concrete form, and concrete construction. + Proficiency in concrete finishing, formwork, and concrete pours. + Ability to read blueprints and use general labor and hand tools. + Experience in framing. Additional Skills & Qualifications + High school diploma or equivalent. + Minimum of five yearsu2019 experience in construction. + Reliable transportation. + Willingness to work within a 50-mile radius. + Ability to work in a variety of seasonal and weather conditions.
