FTE: 0.500000 Standard Hours: 20.00 Shift: Shift 1 Shift Details:shift times rotate Holidays: rotating Weekends: rotating Job Summary:This position performs food service duties related to the service of hotand cold foods to all customers, hospital patients, staff and visitors.This position is responsible to serve attractive and nutritious food tothe patients while practicing proper food safety techniques andmaintaining established department quality standards. Provides meal traydelivery directly to patients verifying accuracy and protectingconfidentiality. Duties include assembly of patient trays on the roomservice line; sanitation of equipment and small wares; stocking assignedareas; dish washing, and overall department sanitation. Other duties asassigned. EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION: A minimum of 1 year of previous foodservice experience in a healthcare setting is preferred. EDUCATIONDESCRIPTION: High School diploma or equivalent is preferred. SPECIALSKILLS DESCRIPTION: Demonstrates good communication, interpersonal andcustomer service skills necessary to interact with patients, visitors,and staff in a courteous manner. Responsible for accuracy and timelinessof tray assembly and delivery. Strong organization skills, and theability to multi-task is required.
